Horses & Hands That Heal
An Unprecedented Partnership
This work brings together the wisdom of horses and the restorative touch of Harmonyum Trauma Release — a rare, convergent healing experience, unprecedented in its nature.
Whether you are navigating something difficult — or simply feel called toward deeper connection and growth — you are welcome here.
This work effectively addresses:
- trauma, stress, and stored emotional patterns
- grief and life transitions
- anxiety, overwhelm, and nervous system activation
- a desire for deeper grounding, clarity, and connection
The Field of the Horse
Horses are highly sensitive and responsive beings, attuned to subtle shifts in breath, emotion, and energetic state. As prey animals, their survival depends on reading the environment with precision – hyper-vigilant, fully present, sensing shifts in energy, emotion, and intention before they become visible.
They have large, powerful hearts with an electromagnetic field five times greater than a human’s. When their heart rhythms are steady and coherent, it has a measurable calming effect on the nervous systems and hearts of those in their presence.
Powerful, yet gentle – their attentiveness makes you feel truly seen. They offer an honest mirror, reading what is true in us, and meet us without judgment.
Harmonyum Trauma Release (HTR)
Harmonyum Trauma Release works with key gateways in both the physiological and energetic body — drawing from Eastern Vedic sciences with modern neuroscience and biofield science. It addresses how stress and emotion are held in the body, releasing those patterns at their source and restoring the system into its natural balance.
As patterns unwind, there’s greater ease and insight, a groundedness, along with a sense of peace.
When Horses Meet Harmonyum
Horses are active participants in this work—not a witness. They attune to the same gateways that HTR attends to, without being guided there.
They have a natural curiosity and bring attention to both the client and the practitioner, tracking what is happening in the body and the biofield. (see Photo Journal below)
They also release what needs to move or clear in the client’s body. At times, they are licking and chewing over major release points that HTR is working on—behavior horse handlers recognize as processing—where something is actively shifting.
There are also moments where they are “leeching”—an equine form of energy release—standing over or next to the client, a visible sign that they are helping move what is being released. These responses arise on their own, without prompting. (see photos below)
What is significant is that this is not directed or trained. The horse is following the work as it unfolds.
Clients leave touched by the horse’s attunement — feeling more peaceful, centered, and at home in themselves.
This work adapts across age groups, neurodiversity, and emotional or physical needs. Sessions are individualized and paced carefully.
Together, these three forces—the horse, the practitioner, and the restorative nature of Harmonyum touch—create something remarkable: a convergence that deepens integration and healing.

An Invitation to Collaborate
This work is just beginning to find its way into equine settings and practices. I welcome connection with equine practitioners and center directors who are curious about the benefits of integrating this approach into their existing work — whether as an ongoing partnership or a first exploratory conversation.
I currently collaborate with an equine Gestalt coach; and also offer individual sessions with equine facilitation and Harmonyum Trauma Release.

Thank you!!! We’re so tapped, we attribute it to the energy work. Feeling tranquil and released!
Thank you so much for today’s experience. Caitlin kicked our butts with the Harmonyum session. You guys are great!
It was as if the horse held the energy while Caitlin helped it move through me—something profound released that words can’t express.
